Rental items explained

What it is

Rental items let Fitness and Experiences vendors offer equipment alongside a booking — mats, kayaks, cameras, rackets — without creating separate listings.

Setting up

Go to Rental equipment in your dashboard:

1. Add the item with a photo, description and quantity in stock.
2. Set pricing per hour, day or week.
3. Choose which listings can offer it.

In the booking flow

Customers see available items as add-ons when they book. Stock is checked against overlapping orders, so an item never goes out twice.

Orders

Each rental produces an order with pickup and return dates. Confirm it, mark the item returned, and the stock releases automatically.

Revenue

Rental revenue is reported separately from booking revenue, and pays out the same way.
